Start or expand your apiary with a four frame honey bee nuc featuring a white marked Randy Oliver queen. Each nuc is an established colony with a laying queen, worker bees, brood in different stages, drawn comb, and food stores.

These bees originated from local feral colonies that were professionally rescued and relocated. After being established and evaluated, the colonies were requeened with Randy Oliver queens, combining locally rescued survivor bees with carefully selected queen genetics.

Randy Oliver’s Golden West queen line comes from a long-term selective breeding program focused on colony performance, gentleness, health, honey production, and improved varroa mite resistance traits. These queens are part of a breeding effort developed from colonies that have shown the ability to maintain lower mite levels without synthetic miticides.

While no queen can be guaranteed to produce a mite-resistant colony, these genetics are intended to give beekeepers a strong start with stock selected for real-world performance and promising mite-resistance traits.

These nucs are a great option for beekeepers who want quality genetics, an active brood nest, and a colony that is already organized and growing.
